The HPI check is used by the Police, the DVLA, fleet owners, lenders, auctions and insurers. Its simple and reliable and checks for the following things:

Vehicle Identify - Confirms that the make, model, engine size, colour, etc. matches those on record at the DVLA. |

Outstanding Finance - Find out if the vehicle remains subject to finance. If it does, you are given full details of the agreement and we guarantee to clear any outstanding finance and grant you legal title. There are about 5 million records on this register. |

Condition Alert - This will alert you if the vehicle has been subject to a total loss claim - meaning that at some time or another it has been 'written-off'. This also alerts you if the car has been stolen and never recovered. |

First Registration - We confirm the date that the vehicle was first registered at the DVLA. |

Stolen Vehicles - This will tell you if the vehicle was stolen or went missing and was never found. |
